The Warrior Wrestling team competed at the NJCAA Region XIII National Qualifier this last Sunday the 23rd. The Ridgewater Warriors team finished in second place! A big Congratulations to our very own Tegan Sherk who wrestles at the 133 weight class. Tegan was voted the Outstanding Wrestler of the Year for the MCAC.
Tegan took first place at the Tournament Qualifying him for the National Tournament!
Alongside him are 4 other wrestlers who have qualified for the National Tournament!
Kyler Sherk (144)- 3rd Place finish
James Morgan (165)- 2nd Place finish
Cody Brott (174)- 4th Place finish (NOT PICTURED)
Tucker Hugg (285)- 2nd Place finish
These 5 wrestlers will be live in action at the National Tournament over the weekend of March 7-8th. The tournament is being held in Council Bluffs, IA. Please, wish them Good Luck if you see them!
