This week's edition of the Ridgewater Athlete Spotlight features freshman Basketball player from Willmar, MN, Madison Norsten.
Why Ridgewater and what are you studying while in school here?
I chose Ridgewater because its close to home and it has a Rad tech program. I also get to play basketball and Softball.
What has been your favorite aspect of being on the Ridgewater Basketball team?
My favorite part of being on the Ridgewater Basketball team is creating new friendships and getting free food!
Do you have any pregame rituals or superstitions?
I have an alani before every game, chew gum during the game and wear a low bun or slick back pony/braid.
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies outside of sports?
Singing, Ask Kelsey or any of the basketball players or coaches!
If you could meet any athlete, past or present, who would it be any why?
Trevor Zergas/Max Kelpler, they are my future husbands, they just don't know it yet.
Favorite food spot in town and what do you get?
Where to begin.... Probably Mcdonalds. 10pc nuggets with fries, ranch, and a diet coke.
Who has been the biggest influence on your athletic career and why?
My parents, they push me to be the best i can be and support me through everything.
