Warriors Open MCAC Play With Win Over Anoka-Ramsey

The Ridgewater men's basketball team opened Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) play in impressive fashion Wednesday night, defeating Anoka-Ramsey Community College 97–84. The Warriors entered conference action with strong momentum after finishing the non-conference portion of their schedule at 11–2.

Tyrese Mayo led the way with a standout 41-point performance, catching fire from deep and finishing 6-of-9 from three. Mayo also went 9-of-9 from the free-throw line as he powered the Warriors' second-half surge. DeAndrea Holloway provided a strong interior presence, adding 29 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocks in a well-rounded effort.

With the victory, Ridgewater improves to 12–2 on the season and begins conference play at 1–0. The Warriors return to action Wednesday when they travel to face St. Cloud Technical & Community College.
