The Warriors secured a key MCAC conference victory on Wednesday, defeating St. Cloud Technical & Community College 90–85. A dominant first half proved to be the difference, as the Warriors exploded to a 49–33 halftime lead that the Cyclones were unable to overcome.

Sophomore forward DeAndre Holloway paced the Warriors with an impressive all-around performance, posting 26 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 blocks to anchor both ends of the floor.

Sophomore guard Tyrese Mayo added 21 points, knocking down 8 of his 13 shot attempts while also dishing out 5 assists to fuel the offense.

All five Warriors starters finished in double figures. Brenton McKinney contributed 15 points, while Jovahn Davis and John Hooker chipped in 11 points each to round out the balanced scoring effort.

With the win, the Warriors improve to 16–5 overall and 5–3 in conference play. They now turn their attention to a road matchup on Wednesday against Rochester Community & Technical College before returning home Saturday to face Minnesota State–Fergus Falls.
