Athlete Spotlight: Luke Jeseritz

This week's edition of the Ridgewater Athlete Spotlight features sophomore Baseball player from Kerkoven, MN, Luke Jeseritz.

Why Ridgewater and what are you studying while in school here?
I chose Ridgewater because it is close to home and the opportunity to play baseball. My field of study is network administration and security.

What has been your favorite aspect of being on the Ridgewater baseball team?

All the friendships i've made and the people i've met.

Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies outside of sports?
I'm pretty good at lawn mowing.

If you could meet any athlete (past or present) who would it be any why?

Joe Mauer, I liked the way he played the game.

If you had to pick one teammate to be stranded on an island with, who would it be and why?

Joe Lieble, because there would never be a dull moment.

What is your favorite sports memory to date?

When we had an undefeated regular season with only 9 guys in legion ball.

Who has been the biggest influence on your athletic career and why?

My mom and dad because they devoted their time to help me get better while supporting me through all the ups and downs.
